A Personal Note

KovAna grew out of my interest in old homes, European architecture, natural materials, and interiors that feel collected over time rather than assembled all at once. I’m drawn to spaces with strong proportions, thoughtful details, and a sense of permanence — rooms that feel warm, personal, and lived in rather than overly styled.

My background in residential construction, project development, and entrepreneurship has also shaped the way I approach interiors. I think about how a space will actually be built, how materials will age, how the layout will function day to day, and how each decision connects to the rest of the home.

With KovAna, I wanted to create a more complete approach to renovation — one where the design direction and construction process are connected from the beginning. For Design + Build projects, I work closely with our architect, trades, and construction team so that the original vision is carried through into the finished space.

I don’t believe a home needs to follow trends to feel current. The goal is to create something cohesive, functional, and distinctive to the people who live there — with materials and details that still feel right years from now.
